It was a beautiful day for some ultimate as teams squared off for some more pool play action. It’s still too early to tell who will be battling for the championship, but teams are ready to make their statements. The morning session was full of drills and scrimmages, and the afternoon session was dedicated to pool play games.
Campers Ben and Eddie relieve some lactic acid buildup together.
After pool play games were concluded, the women campers squared off in a showcase game of mini (4 v 4), and some of our women counselors joined in on the fun!
After dinner it was time for trade night. Campers and counselors alike traded and bought swag from their fellow ultimate player. It was a beautiful sight. After trade night, Charlie Eisenhood from Ultiworld, founder of one of the premiere ultimate media sites, came to host and moderate a panel discussion about the state of ultimate today and where it is headed in the future. Campers asked a panel of speakers, including our own counselors representing D1 college, D3 college, and club (mens and womens), to talk a little about their experiences in the ultimate world. Much wisdom was imparted!
